Below are terms and conditions for Travel Accom web pages and products.

Booking Requests

All booking requests are subject to availability. Bookings are only confirmed with an email receipt.

Payment Terms

All bookings must be prepaid. One full payment is received, a prepaid voucher will be issued.

Rates Validity

All prices are valid for dates indicated. Unless otherwise stated, rates are quoted in currency of destination country. Accommodation prices are for room only and do not include transfers or meals unless indicated. Children prices are based on the use of existing bedding and prices for additional bedding are available upon application. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Quotations

All quotations are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed and deposited. Prices quoted are final once full payment is received. Travel Accom Pty Ltd (T/A Australian Accommodation & NZ Accom) is a booking agent and not a travel agent.

Deposits

A deposit of 20% of the total booking amount is required within 7 days of confirmation of booking unless otherwise advised. Bookings not deposited will cancel automatically without notification after this time. Certain products/services attract different deposit requirements and these will be advised to you in writing at the time of booking. All deposits paid to Travel Accom PTY LTD are non refundable except in the event of extreme hardship, in the opinion of Travel accom. We reserve the right to cancel the booking and relinquish all money owing to the product, subject to them being in the agreement.

Final Payment

Final payment is required 1 month prior to travel unless otherwise advised. Bookings made within 30 days of travel, final payment is due within 48 hours of confirmation. Bookings made within 7 days of travel, final payment is due on confirmation. If not paid when due, Travel Accom P/L reserves the right to cancel bookings without notice. Vouchers will not be issued until final payment is received. Certain products/services attract different payment requirements and these will be advised to you in writing at the time of booking. The credit card holder gives Travel Accom and or the supplier (with the conset of Travel Accom) authority to debit the credit card for any money owing from this booking in accordance with the terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing, either via email or facsimile. (See Below for Private Properties special terms) Bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to travel will have no further cancellation fees apart from the original deposit (private properties have different cancellation policies). Bookings cancelled between 14 days and 30 days prior to the day of travel will forfeit the 50% of total amount plus any additional fees incurred by us from the supplier. Bookings cancelled within 14 days prior or less means that the customer is liable for the full balance. Certain products/services will apply additional cancellation charges and these will be advised to you in writing at the time of booking. It is at the full discretion of Travel Accom as to what monies are refundable. All deposits for peak season are not refundable without exeption. When a refund is issued back to a credit card a %5 refund fee will be charged.

Private Property Special Terms

All bookings require a deposit of 50% of the total value of your accommodation payable within 7 days of the booking being made. Bookings cancelled more than 3 months prior to the proposed occupancy, will receive a refund of any deposit paid (LESS CANCELLATION ADMIN FEE OF $150 AND) less any Credit Card or other transaction fees incurred. Bookings cancelled within 3 months of arrival date, will receive NO refund unless the property can be re-booked, in full for the same dates, less any charges incurred. A re-booking fee of $200 will be deducted from any subsequent refund. It is a condition that all reservations remain subject to approval by the Owner of the property booked. *Special terms may also apply to other products, you will be advised of this upon booking.

Minimum Booking

Our minimum booking amount is $250.

Amendments and Refunds

An administration fee of $30.00 will apply to bookings amended after deposit is paid. This fee is in addition to any charges incurred by us from the supplier. No refund will be available once travel has commenced. A minimum processing fee of $100.00 will apply to any refund /cancellation claim and no guarantee is provided that any refund will be available. All refund requests must be received in writing within 30 days of completion of travel.

Booking Fee

A non refundable booking fee of $3.85 applies to all bookings. Amex and Diners attract a 3% fee.

Accommodation - Check In / Check Out Times

Check in is 2pm and check out is 10am unless otherwise advised.

Tours/Cruises/Diving

Some operators have extensive booking, payment and cancellation conditions. These will be advised to you in writing at the time of booking. Each operator reserves the right to alter itineraries where necessary in the event of circumstances beyond their control, and that they may consider to impact on the safety of their guests, passengers and clients.

Vehicle Rentals

Rental Vehicle costs and conditions of hire are provided on the web pages that relate to each supplier.

Group And Incentive Travel

All group and conference rates are specially contracted rates negotiated for a particular group. Terms and conditions also vary to standard holidays. All information will be provided upon enquiry.

Duty of Care

Travel Accom Pty Ltd would like the opportunity to rectify or provide assistance in any incident including injury and service dissatisfaction and therefore any such situation must be reported to us as soon as possible.

Travel Insurance

We recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance to include cover for involuntary cancellation of your holiday and airfare.

Payment Options

We invite you to submit credit card payments via our secure server. It is important to be aware that certain circumstances relating to location or product nature may effect minor variations for specific destinations or products. These variations are reflected in the terms and conditions contained within each web site, and should be read in conjunction with the following:

  • All travel information and prices provided on the web sites are coordinated by Travel Accom Pty Ltd, ABN 20 065 660 086.
  • Travel Accom Pty Ltd acts only as the agent for the person, business or company providing the service published on our web site. The selection of accommodation, tours and other services featured are chosen in accordance with accepted industry standards.
  • Travel Accom Pty Ltd has taken due care and responsibility to verify and check all information on our web sites, however, as this information is supplied by the relevant accommodation & tour/cruise operators, it accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy or misdescription contained in the publications. All services and prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Travel Accom Pty Ltd does not accept any liability for omissions, default or negligence by any service provider represented on our website. We do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss and additional expenses caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control.
